      • I was up on stage practicing from a group preformance the bell rang and everyone started jumping off the stage. I had two option ; go the long way and walk down the stairs, or jump off and either land on my feet or clumsily on my ass. While peering over the edge, a stranger already at the bottom stuck his had out so I could hold onto it as I hopped off. It was a small gesture, but it reminded me chivalry wasn't dead yet. I gave him a smile and said thanks.

        In my life I've been screwed over, many times. It just confirms to me that life isn't fair. It's not a fairy tale when the good guys always win. Dreams get crushed, and feeling get hurt, but that's life.
        So to me it means, get outta the mindset that the worlds a friendly place, and if you let them, people WILL take advantage of you.
        It's not the best advice I've ever received, but it's something I cant forget. & also, it makes me laugh.
