First we would need to define what acting your age actually means. Who defines what's appropriate for a certain age? Do we? Our family or friends? Society?
We all have ideas in our heads, pictures of what "acting our age" means. We know what is appropriate. Naturally?
I'm 23. I grew up in Europe. I came to understand that acting my age in Europe is different than here in the US. When I watch people my age here I often feel much older. Not always, but often. A lot of twenty year old's here remind me of me and my friends when we where 16. I believe it depends a lot of how we are raised.
But yes, in my opinion I am acting my age. And acting my age ranges from being unbelievable silly when I'm with friends, or at work and the mood is right to drop dead serious when it's needed. I try to evaluate a situation and I act appropriate. Most of the times anyhow.
