It made me realize there is so much more out there and I really need to get out and explore, despite the fact i live in a "decent-sized" city. I want to road trip on a whim.

film should make a comeback

Well for starters, film has not completely left modern times, it still exists but it is dwindling down as companies like Polaroid are halting their production of certain films : http://tech.yahoo.com/blog/null/82063

Anyways, it deserves a special place in today's world because THERE ARE STILL PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO WANT TO USE IT. Better yet, there are still people out there who need to EXPERIENCE using film as opposed to the "instant gratification" a digital camera brings.

Yoga all the way

I started yoga about 2 years ago in the summer as a way to get in shape for cross country. I bought a 3 month unlimited package and went 3-4 times a week, and throwing in some hot yoga sessions in periodically for ultra detox. It was amazing how much progress i made in such a short time. My ability to do positions i thought impossible at first increased exponentially each class. Unfortunately, i had to quit over fall and winter semesters to devote my time to school. I just started back up for the spring, which is what i tend to do each year. I love yoga because it makes you feel strong and accomplished, and it's not a brutal competition like cross country or basketball, (my two other hobbies) it really lets you relax.
