- My Shop
-
An idea I have been kicking around for a while
I have actually thought about this quite a lot as I try to find ways to bring in money.
I would like to open a snack shop near a college campus. No heavy meals, just drinks and snack type foods, with reasonable prices. Perhaps some magazines or newspapers from other cities, but mainly a comfy, inexpensive place for students to hang out between classes and have something to munch.

- Get It Through Your Head!
-
He's not actually my cat, I am cat sitting him for a good friend, but still, I would like him to understand what he is doing!
Stop clawing at the door of my 150+ year old hutch because he is ruining it. It's been handed down through my family for all this time and kept in perfect condition, and in the 5 months he has lived here, he has managed to scratch the crap out of it.

- It's all about the veg
-
Veggies! All kinds of veggies, but especially tomatoes and zucchini. Yummy.
I often grill a bunch of vegetables and then make a salad with them. Except the tomatoes, which we tend to just stand there and eat right after we take them off the grill.

- Same-Sex Marriage Should be Just "Marriage"
-
I absolutely support same sex marriage. Basic human rights should apply to ALL humans, not just those that fit someone else's "ideals".
People are worried about same sex couples destroying the sanctity of marriage. Well, I don't think that's a problem. I think that straight people who get married and divorced multiple times are much more of a threat to the sanctity of marriage than a same sex couple that has been together for 20+ years.
We don't choose who we fall in love with. It just happens, and if we manage to find someone who fills all of our requirements for a mate and makes us happy, and who also thinks that we are awesome, too, who cares if they are male, female, trans, bi, pan, or whatever. It shouldn't matter. We are all human beings with thoughts and feelings, and we all want to be happy and feel cared for.
And what's wrong with that?

- Tattoos are forever
-
If tattoos only lasted for a month, I would probably get something silly inked. If they lasted for a year, again, probably just something silly, possibly with some meaning to me.
I do have one tattoo right now, and I like that it will always be with me. The one I have and the others that I will be getting in the future all have very personal meanings for me.
Right after I got my first one done, someone told me "You know that thing will be on you forever!" I just smiled and said "It better be."
