    • Three Songs I Love
      • Because of my love for Taiwanese drama, I gained interest in listening to Mandopop (Chinese music) late last year. Since I'm a bit new with it, I only listen to a few like Show Luo, Jay Chou and Rainie Yang, although I'm looking forward to listening to more bands and singers. Sometimes, I wonder why I listen to this kind of music -I don't speak in Chinese so I barely understand what I'm listening to! (I'm in the process of learning though). It's pretty embarrassing when I try to sing these songs since I don't even know if I'm saying the right words, and I don't know what they really mean. If I didn't watch any Taiwanese drama series, I wouldn't be able to appreciate these kinds of songs, probably.

愛不單行 (Ai Bu Dan Xing) by Show Luo

This song never fails to make me happy, though I don't know if it would give the same "happiness" if I didn't watch Hi My Sweetheart. This is my favorite song of Show Luo.

好久不見 (Hao Ju Bu Jian) by Jay Chou

I like a lot of Jay Chou's songs, and this is one I can listen to over and over again. This song never fails to put a smile on my face.

我的快乐 (Wo De Kuai Le) by Walkie Talkie

This is one of the songs played in Fated to Love You. I like singing this song.

    • My Pet's Letter
      • I think a letter would be more fun to write.

        To my dear owner,

When I first entered your home, I first went under the car to sleep. I still remember the moment you saw me -I couldn't describe how you felt. You kept on shouting and jumping like a kid, so I was a bit scared to have you as my owner, thinking, "Oh gosh, I have a weird owner." (laughs) You never had a puppy before, so I knew how excited you were to take care of me. During the first few weeks, we got along so well. Everyday, you made it a point to talk and play with me. You gave me dog food everyday.

You wanted to name me Frieda, Vulpix and even Jufran. All of you couldn't agree on what to name me. I was nameless for three months, until your brothers thought of a name, and named me "Dogdog". What was on your minds? Wow, you really thought of my name, didn't you? I'd rather you named me Catcat. Nevertheless, I'm very grateful you named me, rather than calling me by saying "Pssst" or even "Hoy".

As months pass, I noticed that your care for me lessened. When you came from school, you wouldn't even mind me even if I ran to the door when I would hear the engine of the bus. I don't know why. Was it because you were annoyed that I was too sociable that I'd chase a random person who passes by? or is it because I'm a mongrel? I can feel it, you don't even give me dog food anymore. But I'm fine with it.

I'm not even a year old but now I think I'm pregnant. When the door opens, I run out to meet other dogs, but I wouldn't go back when you would chase after me. I don't completely blame myself. At night you would leave me outside the house.

It seems like it's only your brother who actually cares for me. Right now, I need extra care, love and attention as I am going through something. I really feel week because of my condition. Can you bring me to a vet?

Probably when I give birth, you might show your care for me again.

        I miss you.

        Love,
        Dogdog

    • My Summer To-do List
      • Learn Chinese
Learning Chinese (or a new language) is something to do this summer. I'm in the process of learning. Lazily, though. I'm just too fond of Taiwanese drama!

        Bike
Although biking is my only form of exercise, I haven't gotten to do it lately. I love biking -I feel free and calm, with the wind blowing my hair away.

        Joyride
I'm looking forward to riding the LRT and MRT (train) going nowhere. Not during the rush hour, by the way.

        Read a good book
I love reading, and it's also something I haven't had done since forever. Now school's over, I can read and finish a book.

        Travel
I want to travel in and out of the country just because.

    • Feeling Older
      • I feel older than my real age. I enjoy a good conversation with people older than me. I think I grew up too soon and ahead of my peers; considering my interests -current events, politics and the like. Sometimes, I wonder and ask myself if I might have missed out on my childhood, like how my peers still watch cartoons while you would find me watching the news or a documentary. (It's been forever since I watched a kid flick.)

Technically, I'm still a kid anyway -still somewhat immature and innocent, perhaps?
