probably something like 'Plays With Fire,' because...i do. i seek adventure, i thrive on it, and the only way to experience those high joys and exhilarations is to be prepared for the other side--being burned. colin was saying the other day that the happiest moments of life and the hardest moments of life are probably about equal in intensity, and i replied, "yes, but they sure don't feel equal when you are in either extreme." it's true...i am at a low point right now and when i get all wrapped up in my misery, it seems like nothing can ever make me happy again. oddly enough, the things that brought me joy, which i am now missing, were such exquisite delight that i was sure they would trump any heartache i would endure. they do, but that is both better and worse for the recovery process.

the thing to take from that is that you must wring every experience of whatever it can bring out of you; whatever growth, whatever revelation, whatever art, whatever help for others.
