my father is my role model. i tried so hard not to become my mother that i accidentally modeled on my father. he works very hard. he started his own consulting firm at seventy. now at eighty he still works. he worries a lot and he is very kind. i think i would have been happier being more like my mother and having babies and not working so much. but i'm not sure if that is a case of hindsight or thinking the grass is greener on the other side...
