Goa Sunset

Europe is the farthest I have ever traveled from home.

I came to Salzburg, Austria to study at the world renowned Salzburg Tourism School and I decided to stay on here.

But I always enjoy coming back home to Goa, India. My trips home are usually working visits since I combine meeting friends with looking after my Mitaroy Goa Hotel, which is a Couples HOtel in Goa.

Especially during the cold winters here in Austria, I often think of the bright sunshine and the warm sand of the beaches in Goa.

When I lived in India, I never realized why the Europeans love the sun so much. But now, living here with dull grey skies and snow on the ground, even the mention of sun and sand gets me excited too.

And then theres the mouth watering, finger licking good Goan cuisine that I long for all the time.

Will I ever travel ever farther away ?

I always wanted to visit Latin America, especially Cuba and smoke a Habano cigar hand rolled by a fat Cuban lady sitting on the Havana pier.

Who knows what the future might bring ?
