      • Marijuana.
        1st time I tried it I was 18 and on vacation in San Francisco. It made me sick! But then we smoked again that weekend and I enjoyed it. For the next few years it was something I did very casually and only socially. Since then, my relationship with pot has changed. It's something I do less socially and more as my own wind-down from the day. Depending on what I need, it motivates me to do things or helps me relax and re-group.

        I don't forsee it ever being entirely out of my life but I've recently quit while I look for a new job. Of course I would never smoke if and when I get pregnant nor would it be something I would do around my kids. But I think my relationship with pot will continue to evolve.
