    • Learning to forgive.

      • Somebody once taught me that the greatest thing you can do for yourself in this life is learn to forgive other people. Because when we forgive people, we do it for our sake, not for theirs, in order to move on -- and when we hold onto that anger we isolate ourselves from the people who care the most about us.

        Hard to learn, and harder to learn to do, but life's a lot more pleasant on the other side.

      • First place I ever went to see music in Austin, beginning of college. Shut down a couple weeks later. Pretty sure somebody punched me in the stomach. Good times.
