Also, the 'Hundred Years' War' lasted 116 years, and the 'black box' in an airplane is typically painted orange.

It totally depends on the situation. If it was a gorilla fighting only one hyena the gorilla would likely win hands down. However, I think an entire pack of hyenas would have the intelligence to completely surround the gorilla, attacking its sides and hindquarters with the super strong bite it supposedly has. Although the gorilla is the largest of all primates and has upper body strength around six times that of an adult human, I think it'd eventually succumb to the pack.

Ephesus was an ancient Greek city founded in the 10th century BCE. It was one of the 12 cities of the Ionian league and is a huge site containing the biggest collection of Roman ruins east of the Mediterranean. They say only around 15% of the ruins have been excavated.
(Kusadasi is the port city that I traveled through to get to the ruins of Ephesus.)

http://mruthc.blogspot.com/2009/04/on-this-day-last-year.html
It irritates me to no end when people talk about 'Facebook stalking' people. LoLoL you, like, totally creeped all their pics and comment on their status all the time and stuff! You must be, like, totally Facebook stalking them! NO. People do not understand the connotative meaning of the work stalk apparently. It's not a happy word. It's not a funny word. When someone is stalked, they are harassed with UNWANTED and OBSESSIVE attention by someone who makes sure their presence is known but is sure to keep their distance. No, I haven't been stalked, so it's not personal. I just hate to see language butchered and its meaning detracted when words are tossed around.
Don't even get me started on the word 'epic'.

Well, it was nearing the end of the school year of 2006 and he was planning on moving to another province to play hockey in the fall. As hard as it was (at the time), I kind of saw it coming. Then he told me that because we weren't together anymore that his mom thought he should take his sister in to his graduation banquet instead of me. Kind of weird I thought, but you know, why not have your family there. The kicker though.. I found out he didn't take his sister, but instead took another girl in my grade whom he had just met two weeks earlier. I should have known the second he dropped the whole "my mom said" line it was bad news.

Well we mostly text each other, but we also talk on the phone, and use Facebook. My favorite way we stay in touch though is by good ol' fashioned post, and occasionally by carrier pigeon. No, just kidding about the pigeons. But we write letters back and forth and send pictures and drawings and CDs we make for each other. Every letter is so special to me, and helps pass time quickly because I'm always excited for the next one.
I'm in love with this boy, and being apart from him made me realize just how much I want to be with him. I'm kind of surprised at how well we're making it work, although I do miss him a whole lot. I get to come home for the summer, so I'll be seeing him in eleven days. I can't wait! =)

Swedish techo/bluegrass crossover?! Obviously made by people who hate Country & Western music and therefore fill it with every hillbilly cliche known to mankind. Saddest part... Rednex has spent more weeks at Number 1 in Germany than any other artist of the past 25 years.

Good gracious! Here's an idea... take a child's toy and turn it into some twisted sexual fantasy. NOT. To think this group was in their prime, they were all the rage with the "pre-teen" crowd. This song was, and still is, terribly annoying.

I still love children's books.. Being an older sister to four other siblings, I'm around picture books to this day. Books were a huge part of my up-bringing and this one in particular was a favorite along with Teddy Bears' Picnic. I'm secretly very anxious for the film version of Where the Wild Things Are to come out in theaters on October 16, 2009!

I visited Mykonos in the Spring of 2008 on a school trip, and of all the Greek Islands we saw, it was my favorite. I wasn't even able to spend an entire day there, but I would like more than anything to go back.
