- Temporary Tattoos
-
Even if tattoos lasted for only a year, or even a month, I don't think I would get one.
You see, I value my individuality. I like not having a mark on my body like most people seem to have.
But, if I were to get one, I think it would be a gigantic eye in the middle of my forehead.

- Smashing Eggs

Omelets. I like them. I don't like spelling it, but I sure like making 'em.
Now, I know the old saying goes you can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs but I don't think that's true. I think if you have a pin you can poke a whole in the top and the bottom and then just blow the innards out. I don't think that constitutes as breaking the egg, but I guess some people have their own definitions.
And that reminds me of the Ronco Egg Scrambler. You placed an egg on top of a little machine, piercing the bottom of the egg with a pin set in the machine, and then the whole thing would vibrate thus scrambling your egg and saving you the odious chore of doing it yourself.

- On Same-Sex Marriage

The short answer is 'No.'
The long answer is 'I don't care.'
The much longer answer is: It's not that I don't care in a mean way, it's that I don't care in the same way that I don't care if anyone gets married. A man with a man, a woman with a woman, a man with a woman, a man with a goat... It doesn't matter to me and I really don't see what all the fuss is about.
Whether any two people get hitched, it doesn't affect me at all so why should I care? Well, as long as I'm not one of those two people and I don't see that happening again, anyway.
However, I'm not a big fan of marriage at all. Most of them fail. It's more of a legal obligation than anything else. Frankly, I think people have a better chance of staying together longer if they aren't married. But, then, you can't get health benefits through work and if one person (Heaven forbid, etc) passes away then everything goes all higgeldy-piggly, legal-wise.
So, short answer: No, I don't support any kind of marriages but if you're going to do it anyway I don't care who you're marrying and good luck to you, anyway.

- In defense of my vice: sockless
-
opening day & sockless in SC - #springtime #gococks
I started way back in the 1980s. I'll defend it because, really, it's awesome. Excitement, loud popular music, shoes with no socks and pastel colors that swirl before your eyes! Yes, my vice is Miami Vice! The only vice worth having. Would I give it up? How could I give up Sonny and Crockett? No way, man, it's not going to happen.
And then there's the smoking, drinking, and tons of sex. With women.
