    • must-brings: cellie, lipgloss, cash, glasses, iTouch
      • cellphone
obviously! never ever leave home without your cellie.

        lipgloss
i've gotta be prepared to put it on whenever and wherever i am, in case i'm in the mood.

        cash
another obvious item to put in your purse. you'd never know when you'll need to buy something.

        glasses
for times when i've got headaches from tired eyes, usually i just bring them for reading or watching movies.

        iTouch
sometimes the road gets sooooo boring that you just wanna cover your face and fly yourself to sleep. music helps (:

    • Clarkequay: love the food, the scenery, the entertainment
      • i wrote the place i'd be in my city, Surabaya, but it's not listed in the map. so let's pretend i'm in Singapore. haha~ Clarkequay is definitely my choice. I love the scenery, love the food, love the entertainment. they've got just about everything you need to get through the night.
i'd probably have dinner at one of the restaurants (usually at Jumbo Seafood, but that's rather for family occasions) or cafe to grab dinner, have smoothies or latte, just sit down for hours and catch up. then i'd take a ride on the boat, where we could enjoy the scenery from the Singapore River. it's a great ride, believe me. i went there a couple of times and it was always the time when they have to rehearse the fireworks for national holidays, so we get to watch fireworks as we flow on the river. it was beautiful! (: the rest of the night i'd probably be out having fun in some of the clubs where we could play pool, or grab more drinks and just gossip all night long! haha.

    • a good study from Barbara and Allan Pease
      • I know some people find this book ridiculous to read, i mean i didn't even thought I'd actually read it til' the last page. My mom was going through boxes of her old books in the storage and gave me a couple of psychological books, one of them was Why Men Don't Listen and Women Can't Read Maps. She told me it was a light reading and some parts are actually funny so it might be more interesting than the others.
Turns out, she was right. it's a surprisingly funny book. Barbara and Allan Pease combined both their results and analysis of their study and research on men and women with a touch of irony and sarcasm. it turned out pretty hilarious for me.
it's not that i now place my judgments and opinions on men and women based on their theory, but i think they opened my eyes on couple of things. it helped me understand other people more, though not much. it was basically a good study from Barbara and Allan Pease and it was certainly worth reading.
