Hmmm, suppose I'll apreciate Quentin Tarantino films this year. Maybe I'll learn to speak French. Always want to win the mega millon or some huge jackpot. Suppose I might start playing the lottery since I cant win unless I play, right? Ha. Maybe this is the year! *-*
What is going to be different this year?
Who knows,Cheerios?

- Shifty-Eyed Evader or Unblinking Intimidator?
-
Something about a blank stare is cold and uninviting. But on contrary, excessive eye movement could be a sign of flirting, or even worse, absolute craziness. Have you ever been in a face to face conversation with someone and intentionally started blinking more than usual? Blinking usually is a sign of alertness, whereas staring blankly at the person talking to you or talking at can be intrusive. Depending on the ammount of energy you are actually using to focus also makes a differece. Sometimes I'll have an entire conversation with someone and never fully focus on them-rather look around the room while apearing to be looking directly at the person. Eye contact can be tricky when speaking to someone you are uncomfortable around. Without giving the impression of intimidation or untruthfulness, making eye contact can be a powerful thing.

- The holy commodes. where writers read and write

Yes, yes and yes. I have a passion for writing and am especially glad to have found the plinky prompts.
I know im not crazy. Sometimes the only way I'm able to think clearly is by scribbling something down in my journal or typing some random string of sentances together. the plinky prompts help me in a major way especially when i've got an excell of energy and two or more things going on at once, aka multi tsking. Right now Ive got the lpatop proped up on top of the washing machine next to a pile of clothes i'm going to fold at some point.
Since the cost of spending hours and hours at coffee shops has become impractical when I could find a corner at home and set up with my laptop with an enexpensive cup of coffee brewed right here, I generally save the trip to starbucks or similar places for special ocassions. I've made the most of my space at home by always having a tv tray handy, a clean vanity, or just somewhere outside the house like garge or patio. Pretty much where ever I can find an electrical outlet. Going to the library can sometimes be distracting. I find myself more inclined to browse when in that type of setting, although am able to do more brainstorming there. The other setback to going to the library is my incline to check out book, upon book, upon book. Some of the titles I pick up for fun, some look interesting and serve as a reference for my writing. This gets crazy. I could be compared to a shop aholic with a black card at the library, although I haven't ever had out the limit of 50 items at once. Someday I'm sure i will. Imagine that, hitting your limit of check outs at the library.
As for reading, my most popular spot is right in front of the television. Strange as that sounds, i like having the background noise and headlines scrolling across the screen when reading. For the most part I read and write where ever my laptop or pda can go.

Who needed toys with all the sweet shells, bottlecaps and golfballs laying around at the beach? Imagination was the only thing i needed. Scavenger hunts were so much more fun back then and I admit that i still do.
