- In response to: "If you were in a movie right now, what music would be playing?" If I were starring in the movie of my life (Oh, wait... I am!) Ella Fitzgerald would be playing in the background. Unless Nora Ephron were directing, in which case Carly Simon would be singing.

Boring, Oregon is 2,800 miles from Boring, Maryland. I suggest moving both cities to Climax, Minnesota, midway between the two.
In honor of the move, each person transplanted from Oregon and Maryland will receive a T-shirt that says, "We were Boring until we got to Climax."

Our honeymoon was part cheapo Hawaiian vacation package for one (ME), part US Navy Reserves active duty at Pearl Harbor, where HE had been previously stationed. My flight was delayed for 12 hours, I arrived two days before my husband, and his ex-girlfriend picked me up from the airport. My husband thought I was exaggerating about how small the hotel room was, until he got there and said, "I see the problem. You've checked into the janitor's closet."
A full day's walking around in brand new sandals left me with blisters on both feet; a full night's stay at the ex-girlfriend's house nearly ended a week-long marriage. (If only.)
Did I mention this was my honeymoon? In Hawaii?
