   &#39;Money is a symbol. Only humans have the wherewithal to attach significance to symbols. As humans, we are always trying to discern patterns out of randomness, to such an extent we create idealistic structures where none are apparent. Ergo, we invent money, then attach all sorts of meaning to its existence, even going so far as calling it evil.<br/>
