I'm an Internet kid. In college I became fascinated with this burgeoning technology--particularly the concept that information could flow instantly. As a very early adopter I personally reaped the benefits of a then crude, but nonetheless immediate, connection to others online. The technological backbone, culture and media theory, and the private and public forces that shaped its inception and deployment consumed me in study for close to a decade.

Not only was I studying digital information, I was creating it too. And thus began my monetary relationship with the Web. About 99% of my overall income has been tied to or directly derived from online technology.

I can't even begin to imagine my life without an internet connection. I am nearly paperless in my life transactions and rely very heavily on the cloud for the most mundane things. I've not written a physical letter in at least a decade, but I keep in touch with more people than ever before.

My life trajectory has moved me around considerable geographic distances, geopolitical conflicts, and increasingly borderless commerce has spread my friends and family across the globe. I have conversations across Latin America, through both US coasts, most of mainland Europe and parts of the Middle East. Some are tweet-sized, some involved and constant, yet others sporadic. Most, however, have lead to extending relationships, strengthening friendships or keeping tabs on those I'm not as close with.

Absolutely! I'd love to invest my ill gotten loot wisely, take the dividends and spend at least the first year living under the Aegean blue skies, eating the freshest fish and mediterranean bounty, reading, swimming, and being tended to one of Ero's perfectly chiseled *direct* descendant.
