        Christine Tebbetts. Oh, how I miss you, dear.

        For some reason Miss. Christine decided to be my friend in high school back when I had no others. She was nice to me during school, texted me all the time, and forced me to hang out with her after school. I, unused to friendships, didn't really know how to act, but Christine took control. She does that, sometimes ;-]. Anyway, Christine and I have remained friends despite the whole college thing and never seeing each other. I think that says something about a friendship in and of itself.

        Also, Christine was the first person to know everything about me, and she said she still loved me.

        I've been into quotes lately, and this is my favorite one.

        It's taken me a long time to grow up. Well, I'm still growing. But, the point is it's hard to be who you really are.

        Someone once told me I had a long road ahead of me. Damn him for being right, but it has been true. Life hasn't been easy. It isn't easy, being who you are.

        I think that every person who does what he loves is brave. I think every person that lives is brave. I'm jealous of those people that can exist without caring what other people think of them. That isn't how life is for me. So, I have to remember that, "I exist as I am, that is enough." Walt Whitman.
