It was shortly after my freshman year of high school had begun and both my dad and I were home. It was around 9 o'clock at night, I was in the office messing around on the computer and my dad was in his room watching TV. All of a sudden there was a huge crashing noise downstairs. I ran out of the office (thinking my dad had been working on something and dropped it) and my dad came running out of his room (thinking I had dropped my weights on the ground). As this is happening, people claiming to be the cops are yelling downstairs for everyone in the house to get on the ground.

They started coming up the stairs to the second floor when my dad says, "you're not the cops". I immediately dropped to the floor as they were yelling at us to do. The pistol whipped my dad and shoved us into the closet as the ransacked the house.

Right before they left, one of them opened the closet door, placed a shotgun to my head and asked me two questions:

1) What high school do you go to?!
2) Are you a racist?!

He paused after each question. Satisfied with my responses they all left.
