      • POWER OF PENTECOST
        Pentecost is the fiery breath of God
        Breathing out to win the lost;
        In the Book of Acts they received power
        --- The Eternal Power of Pentecost.
        In the Upper Room they all waited
        Soon the sound of mighty rushing wind;
        Tongues of fire fell down upon them
        ----As God promised He would send.
        Pentecost is all about receiving
        Awesome passionate power from above;
        Power to live the overcoming life
        ----Proclaiming Peace, Joy and Love.
        We Salute the great Power of Pentecost
        Let's help spread the Gospel Good News;
        Come sweet Holy Spirit we need you
        ----Empower us all ages---you and me too.

    • MOTHERS ARE OUR NATIONAL TREASURES
      • I learned from my dear Mother that the Glass is always half-full at least.
        Here's a poem in her memory this Mother's Day Week:
        MOTHERS--OUR NATIONAL TREASURES
        "I have eyes in the back of my head"
        My dear Mother used to say;
        A Mother knows and understands What a child does not even say.

        A Mother's arms are made for tenderness
        Loving ears for compassionate care;
        Her dancing eyes are eager to observe
        What truly is happening there.

        Her grand heart is ever open
        All 241 hours of every day;
        A Mother knows and understands
        What her child does not have to say;

        Her wise advice follows her offspring
        All along life's bustling way
        Understanding Mothers are National treasures
        May God Bless all our dear Mothers today.

    • RING AROUND THE PRESIDENTS
      • I would love to be Mickey Mouse at the NEW BUSH PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY OPENING this week here in Dallas! Thus I wrote this POEM:

        There once was a Texas mouse named Mickey
        To the new Bush Library Opening he did go;
        He took Minnie and all his hungry friends
        ------A juicy Library feast their big goal!
        He followed around all the past presidents
        He even gave Obama's Chicago coat a tag;
        He loved running with all the world's big wigs
        (After all, the cat's now out of the bag!)
        They also chased Clinton and Carter
        And don't forget dear ole Dad Bush too;
        After all, big feasts like this don't come often
        (Tons of paper products to get to chew through)
        Mickey and Minnie and the Mice had a ball
        ------All in all a tastefully delightful day;
        The Texas mice all plan a reunion in Hawaii
        When Obama gets his big 'Retirement Day"!

    • What's your favorite thing to do?
      • My favorite activity is ABSOLUTE SACRED SILENCE. It helps keep me sane!
        A SILENT RONDOLET

        Sacrosanct Silence
        Memories whose dues have been paid
        Sacrosanct Silence
        A worried mind seeking wise guidance
        The final word at a loved one's grave
        Honoring a soldier who fought so brave
        Sacrosanct Silence.

    • NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD!
      • I have ONE Main impossible thingsthat I believe in!
        It was impossible for mankind, but Possible for God---the RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST on Easter Morning.
        EASTER VICTORY
        We've just won the world's greatest lottery
        We've just won the grandest contest yet;
        Christ tore us from the Grip of the Grave
        Death is defeated---Eternal life a sure bet!
        We're the luckiest people on the planet
        The best news any mortal can ever hear;
        Christ delivered us from the Grip of the Grave
        Hallelujah---I have not been forgiven!
        Allelujah---my soul is victoriously transformed!
        Christ rescued me from the Grip of the Grave
        ------Now I am happily Heaven bound!
