    • I'll read 'Punctuated Equilibrium' one day
      • I recently read another of Gould's books but now I'm on a science fiction and thriller kick. Once I run through a few novels I've been meaning to get to I'll jump back to reality with Gould.

    • 'Trilogy of Terror II' was a scary movie
      • The little warrior spirit doll in the third short film is part funny part freaking scary. I saw it for the first time as a little kid and for years I used to be afraid that while I was taking a shower the little doll was going to peek around from behind the curtain, let out its creepy warrior cry, and go for the jugular.

    • My ideal Super Bowl halftime show would include The Offspring
      • The Offspring
One of my favorite bands since childhood, without a doubt, with the caveat that they wouldn't be allowed to play any songs from their latest album in their Super Bowl set, because "Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace" is absolutely terrible and doesn't retain their distinct sound and style whatsoever.

    • How I'd spend $1,000
      • I'd go on a trip to Germany. Definitely to Dresden, the city in which my grandmother grew up, and to Berlin of course, and then wherever else the wind took me. Most likely to cities in Austria, possibly regions of Poland, Turkey, Russia, and France as well. The goal would be to travel in areas where German was still widely spoken to improve my language skills and rely on English as little as possible through the course of the trip. =]

    • 'Prospero's Children' will help pass the time
      • The book takes me to whole different worlds--the moors of England and the city of Atlantis--and it feels like an old friend, so it'll be almost like having the kind of good company one would want to have about while waiting around for jury duty.
