        Me? I would spend every minute worrying about how long before the power comes back. Our power lines are underground, I don't think we have had 12 hours of total combined blackouts in the past 13 years. Add to that PJ, who simply can't understand why the lights and everything but the laptops and the phones won't work.

    • The Funniest Thing I've Ever Heard a Child Say

      • When my brother was probably 3 years old, we were having a combined birthday party for myself and one of my first cousins (more than 15 years older than me, but same birth date) who was very pregnant.

        My brother: what's in there?

        My cousin: a baby

        My brother: WHY DID YOU EAT HIM?

        And yes, over 30 years since and we still won't let him forget about it.

        My English teacher in 8th grade, hands down the worst teacher I have ever had. Runner ups: some university professors I ran into that didn't give a shit about teaching, they were simply punching their ticket for whatever reason.
