    • The Best Musical Performance I've Attended
      • Roger Waters en el Palau Sant Jordi de Barcelona (The Wall Live)

Up until December 2010, it was Pink Floyd's Division Bell tour, which was my first concert at age 15 (in 1994). Then I saw Roger Waters' The Wall in December, and it was just mind blowing. It was an amazing show, but because the content is pretty controversial (war images), it was really emotionally exhausting. I didn't leave it feeling great, but it's important that information is out there and Roger Waters is a passionate artist and it shows in his work.

    • Architecture I Appreciate
      • Living Roof

I may be a bit biased, but I think the California Academy of Sciences is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL building. It was designed by renowned architect, Renzo Piano. On top of being beautiful, it is one of the greenest museums in the world. I believe we are one of the few buildings in the world with a Platinum LEED rating (LEED is an initiative started by the US Green Building Council, and stands for Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design)!!
So not only is it beautiful, it was built in the most environmentally friendly way a building these days can be built!

    • An Album I'll Always Love
      • Probably Pink Floyd's The Wall. I know it's an odd choice, but it always reminds me of my childhood and going to see Pink Floyd with my dad and family when I was 15. I could listen to that album over and over! I do at work all the time :)

    • The Worst ProfessorI Ever Had
      • Close Your Eyes. Open Your Heart

I've had some strict teachers, but not too many bad teachers. I would have to say the worst professor I had was for developmental psychology in my sophomore year at UCSC. The professor spoke with her eyes closed, and I could not focus on the class, it really weirded me out and I spent half the class just looking at her waiting for her eyes to open!

    • That Special Book in My Life
      • Hogwarts

The last Harry Potter book, the Deathly Hallows, is probably my absolute favorite book and I listen to the audio book constantly. It never gets old, the story is just so engaging and the previous 6 books finally come together in this one and all the questions are answered!
