        A close friend's wedding, home briefly from deployment in Iraq. We had only a few days notice and the ceremony was on a Thursday (if memory serves). He got to surf some of the best waves in the world on his wedding day.

    • Princess Di visited my school when I was a student in London

      • Back in 1988, Princess Di officially visited the school where I was taking a semester of classes as an undergrad. She was near the height of her popularity, well before any scandals the divorce.

        One of my classmates kissed her hand which created quite a stir with the paparazzi.
