A few christmas's ago I brought home my first "real" boyfriend. It was at my cousin's house and all of my extended family was there (Including auntie tess, the german aunt) My dad wasn't really happy about letting his baby girl grow up so he drank a bit more than he should have. Anyway, all of my cousins were with us downstairs to keep an eye on us and we were playing with their new iMac's photobooth. We were having a good time till you see my ex (Who by the way is the lone white boy in a house of filippinos who straightens his hair and wears the same exact skinny jeans as myself.) get up and pole dance on the support beam on the computer screen. At the time it was endearing but the awkward silence that followed still makes me feel uneasy.
