- To Have Loved and Lost
-
I'll say "Yay" to better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. Even if it hurts when you've lost, there are lessons to be learnt to grow stronger. Some things you just can't learn from books or people telling you what it is, you have to experience it for yourself.
Nobody said life is a bed of roses. There will be tons of obstacles along the way and going through them will teach you something. Ultimately, you will emerge a stronger person.

- My Gift Wish List
-
How about a trip to Paris? Oh wait, too big a gift? Hmmm...I have a few Pullips on my wish list, but I'll really like Pullip Kirsche or Pullip Shinku. I fell in love with the former because of her striking red hair. The latter is part of the Rozen Maiden series and is my favourite character in Rozen Maiden.

- My 5 Best Qualities
-
Mild Temper
My sister taught me an important lesson to be tactful and to watch my tongue. Over the years, I feel I've become more mellow and now even if someone makes me angry, I don't stay angry for too long.
Optimistic
I'll say I'm a pretty optimistic person which helps me to stay happy. I use the "Serenity Prayer" as my guiding light to help me accept the hard times and gain wisdom to solve problems.
Helpful
I guess I'm too nice a person and like to help people to the best I can. Some people aren't too appreciative of the help they have received and I end up getting upset, but somehow I still find myself helping them.
Hardworking
I won't say this is totally true since I find myself needing a wake-up call now and then in form of a bad grade. Besides, I only became motivated to study hard when I entered college and met my boyfriend. Outside of studies, I am hardworking when it comes to work. I have the mindset that the company I'm in is not paying me to do nothing, therefore I should produce work that is good and not short-change the company.
Organized
I'm organized when it comes to work. Although I don't recognize myself to be a good leader, I can focus, organize what to do, and provide direction for group work.

- Turkey Time
-
Love it! In Singapore, people don't celebrate Thanksgiving, so my family has turkey during Christmas. In recent years, something called "turducken" has become popular. It's chicken stuffed in a duck stuffed in a turkey. Well, that's kind of a novelty thing, but I still like good ol' turkey. We'll have it during Christmas dinner with the relatives and my mum will make porridge the next day using the leftover turkey.
Well, since I'm in the States now and people celebrate Thanksgiving, I celebrate it with my aunt and family. I think she's having duck instead of turkey today though...
Happy Thanksgiving!

- Cheer-Me-Up Music

Well, when I'm down, I usually wallow in self-pity for awhile by listening to sad songs. Then, I switch to happier tunes or more upbeat tunes like songs by AAA or Perfume. Nostalgic tunes like Ayumi Hamasaki's older songs are good too.
