First track to kick things into high gear, it's loud, it's shouty and it makes you want to put the roof down on a long and empty road. Not so good when stuck in traffic.

A co-worker once said, "I recognise this, my Mum used to listen to it when ironing", but despite how old that makes me feel I love this track for all its invocation of clear open blue skies and white fluffy clouds. There's nothing for it but to be happy.

If this is going to be a three track only Road-Trip mix, then the last track has to be a little more down-tempo. Growing up in the UK I always had a semi-romantic love of what I thought America was like, based on TV, comics and photos. This track brings back the same emotions and paints a picture in my head of 24 hour laundromats, external New York fire escapes from old tall brick apartment blocks and second hand bookshops that also sell coffee and turn into a music bar in the evening.
