This is just something i have always wanted to do. The way things are rapidly declining on this planet of ours, i feel as though i should book it soon before all those fascinating animals are extinct.

Climb Machu Picchu
I haven't spent nearly enough time in South America and Machu Picchu is one of the gems. I'm hoping to check this off my bucket list in the next two years.

Speak another launguage fluently
I am always in awe of people who are fluent in more than two languages. There is no reason not to apply yourself and learn something other than the default.

America is great and i'm glad I live here but if you have the opportunity to live abroad, stop sniveling and appreciate every second. It's not like you're not coming back- give people a chance to miss you and give yourself the opportunity to open your mind. What i wouldn't give to travel more.

God, I'm blushing just recalling this memory...it is the worst. I was a true child of the 80's. Straight up (Paula Abdul) Different Strokes, Madonna, Bon Jovi, Puffy Paint, parachute pants, Hypercolor, Kid N Play...child of the 80's. Let us not forget the Reebok Pump for guys and the LA Gear high tops for girls. I had the 'coolest' pair of LA Gears. They were white with fluorescent green and pink accents ALL over. The unfortunate thing about these shoes were the laces. Each shoe had 8 laces intricately woven together, all in white, green and pink.

I decided that LA Gears were appropriate for both school and sports, so naturally i showed up to my elementary school basketball game ready to play plastered in LA Gear style. At half-time i must have retied my shoes but because there were so many damn laces, i tied my shoes together! When i jumped off the sideline to begin playing the second half, i promptly met the gym floor face first. Confused, i picked myself up and took another step only to meet the same fate. At that point, the coach (my best friend, Jenny's dad) ran onto the court, scooped me up and carrier me to the sideline where it was revealed that i was a complete moron. As it turns out, i sprained my arm after falling on it twice.

I did return to the game of basketball but never again could stomach those LA Gears.

Even at my age i haven't mastered a healthy balance between giving and giving too much. I'm getting there but am not naive to the fact that it may take a lifetime to figure out.

Be good to others without losing yourself, especially in relationships. i think Samantha said it best on Sex and the City when she told Richard, "I love you but i love me more".

When you live in a three bedroom, one bathroom, it can be challenging to find enough space to call you own, which is why my sister's house is my true home.

Well, my favorite room is in my sister's home. She has one of the best kitchens I've ever seen. It's big but not huge. Anytime she has people there we always end up hanging out in the kitchen with the ipod going and wine/beer/fam-tinis a plenty.
