- The Cops Caught Me

Made for speed
With a slap on the back, I can honestly say that I have never been in the back of a police car, though in my younger days, I escorted many to that location. I did find myself under arrest once but was given the luxury of riding shotgun without those cold, hard handcuffs, and by the time we arrived at the courthouse, my charge had been reduced substantially. Many years ago, I drove OTR...(over the road) hauling paper products up and down the East coast and into the Midwest. On one occasion I was in a hurry to return home after having been deemed overweight. My CB had stopped working and my foot became a lead weight. Not a good combination. Needless to say, I was caught speeding and arrested by the Ohio State Police. But with a cool head, good conversation and an invitation to go fishing in Maine, my 78 mph citation was reduced to a point where I paid a $40 fine AND given a ride back to my rig, I have been good ever since.....lol

- Things I Have No Patience For
-
Much time has passed since I have visited this site. Not due to lack of interest but of life's intermissions. The 3 things I have no patience for....hmmmmm.
1. Ignorance
2. Intolerance
3. Weakness of spirit.
My reaction is varied and ranges from a kind work to primal instinct.

The White House (Washington DC)
The first team off the spaceship, the ones who are disposable look like those no talented droids from Hollywood, and the ones who stay on board, hunkering down and ascertaining if all is safe look like our elected officials. And, aliens...no offense....

- My Prophetic Dream
-
I do not think I ever had a prophetic dream, but I do remember one where I was standing on a ridge, watching a battle take place. I remember the sounds and the colors of war. During one of my adventures, I found myself on this ridge over looking the same valley. De ja vu. It was creepy....
