    • Believe it or not, I haven't seen 'Footloose'
      • I didn't see it when it came out because I had super overprotective parents that were more interested in movies like Red Dawn than movies with male protagonists that "gotta dance". Actually, it's probably not fair to blame them entirely because I never really had the desire to see it. I feel I have lived a full and rich life up to this point and don't really feel any desire to correct the situation.

    • The Colosseum is the oldest place I've been
      • Construction on the Colosseum started circa 70 AD and was completed in 80 AD.

I have a picture of my sisters and I outside the Colosseum somewhere. We went all over Rome, so I'm sure that we probably went somewhere even older than the Colosseum, but it was at the end of a really long trip, so it's all kind of a blur.

    • I'm my own little brand of somethin' with very few inherited traits.
      • I have my dad's temper, uptightness and analyitical criticism. I am also prone to his petty meltdowns over something minor. The only trait that I have from my mom is a drive for scheduling and planning. Wow, in combination those traits make me sound like a real peach, don't they? Physically, I have blue eyes and brown hair just like the two of them, but I look more like my Dad than my mom. Definitely got my booty from my Mama, and DEFINITELY got double teamed on the eyebrow front. But of course, I am easily identifiable as a member of my family by any non-member, because we have a certain "forma de ser" that is easily identifiable as peculiarly ours. I very much wish that I had the high degree of self-confidence that each of my parents have, and also their work ethic. The traits I inherited from them are their worst ones. None of their many stellar abilities and talents made it into my DNA. If anything, I wish I were more like my parents. Life would be much easier if that were the case. I bet there aren't too many people in the world that would say that.

    • Why my hip-hop posse would include Queen Elizabeth II
      • Queen Elizabeth II
Pomp and circumstance, baby, that's where it's at. She would be my entourage-mentor, to show me how it's done.

        Tracy Anderson
Madonna's (and Gwyneth's) personal trainer. Not because of the name check factor, but because love 'em or hate 'em, you have to admit they have rockin' bods, and she's responsible for it. It's hard out there in the streets, and a sista's gotta be fit!

        Kenley Collins
Enfant terrible of Project Runway 5...She clearly knows nothing about hip hop as witnessed by her design for Leanne http://www.bravotv.com/widgets/bin/gallery/cache/3c1cc67c1985e4d0842aeecb16e58ba8/watermark/rate_511_leanne.jpg
I think that her designs could be my gimmick, though...kind of like Bjork in the Swan Dress at the Oscars (which I admittedly love). Just as long as I never have to be around Kenley. We can do fittings by video phone or something. Paging Rachel Zoe (lol!)

    • How I'd spend $1,000
      • I'd pay the bills man. Isn't that terrible? If I didn't have any bills to pay, I'd pay for my sisters and I to have a girl's weekend at the Montage in Laguna Beach. Massages, facials and laying out...with good food. I know it sounds cliched, but it is such a gorgeous location, and I really could do with some relaxation right about now.
