If I could fly I'd be an owl. Owl's are freakin' awesome. Their heads can turn almost the whole way around. Rad.

      • My most common nickname is Shan. My full name is Shannon, if you can't workout why this is my nickname, you may need mental help.
Other people call me shanla__. Yes, people do actually call me 'Shanla underscore underscore', although many people shorten it to just Shanla. This originated when i couldn't get shanla or shanla_ for my hotmail account, so i resorted to shanla__.
My bestfriend calls me Shazza Rat... Only my bestfriend.

      • The most beautiful natural thing I've ever seen was on my way to Uluru.

        We did not climb Uluru

My father took a few weeks off of work to take us on a road trip across Western Australia, the Northern Territory and South Australia. We pitched our tents on the side of the road every night, sat around the campfire and roasted marshmellows. The scorching summer weather and huge amount of flies in the Australian outback actually contributed to the most amazing time I'd ever had in my life. Anyway, the most remarkable sight wasn't actually Ayers Rock itself. I'm not saying it wasn't remarkable, because it was. I mean, who couldn't love an overly large rock in the middle of the desert where a dingo ate a baby?

But the stars. I'd never seen this many stars in my life. They where everywhere. It made me actually believe that it could be possible that 'there are more stars in the world than there are grains of sand'.
