No shame...it isn't that I don't have sophisticated taste buds, it's just that these are my all-time favorite foods, the old stand-by's, the comfort in my comfort food...crunchy tacos (all-time favorite is Taco Bell's original), pepperoni pizza (thin crust, garlicky marinara, lots of cheese, pepperoni slightly burnt so that the edges are crunchy), nachos (shredded chicken, tomato, onion, black olive, jalapeno, loads of cheddar and jack melted not burnt, and sour cream on every bite), cheese (any kind), tomatoes (love and crave them in every form). Now I'm hungry!

- The House I Grew Up In

There was a small room in the basement of the first house I ever lived in and I remember one time during a tornado my Mom taking me and my brother down into that room and throwing a mattress over us to protect us in case the tornado ripped our house off. I don't remember being afraid of the tornado, just being afraid that my Mom was afraid.
