    • My advice
      • Mr. Plinky suggests that I pass along some advice that everyone should hear. This thought has helped me a lot over the years.

"Remember that there are only three kinds of things anyone need ever do. (1) Things we ought to do. (2) Things we've got to do. (3) Things we like doing. I say this because some people seem to spend so much of their time doing things for none of the three reasons, things like reading books they don't like because other people read them..."

    • Mr. Plinky asks me, "Have you gone a day without your cell phone?"
      • More times than I can count! I've only recently become a cell-phone-in-the-pocket guy. Used to be my cellphone stayed in my glovebox for days on end. Some of my friends just didn't get that when they called my cellphone, that message would age a good long time before I heard it.

But now I've been sucked in by iPhoneitude, and I don't know that I'll ever break the Digital Chains.
