- If I Had Unlimited Resources, I Would Create Morlocks
-
There is only one logical answer: Morlocks.
With unlimited resources, all of the ills of the universe (as they pertain to humanity, in any case) would be eliminated in time (which I will define as a resource in order for my circular logic to work properly). It's a very small step between having everything you ever wanted or needed and becoming an Eloi. Who wants a civilization comprised of banal, well-fed, selfish, entitled, unthinking automatons who live day-to-day with no notion of future planning, no critical thought application?
Morlocks, that's who.

- Most Movies Move Me
-
I've included the image from one of the two films that immediately sprang to mind: Dear Zachary - A Letter To A Son About His Father. It's excruciatingly sad, moreso because it's a documentary. What we see actually occurred, and it unfolds in such a way as to maximize the potential impact to an unsuspecting viewer. The second film that came to mind is The Orphanage, which is also very sad. I guess that one struck me because, as my good friend would say, "it has a kid in it."
The more I considered the question, however, the more I realized that I am moved, in one way or another, by virtually everything I see, be it movie, television, insect, or none of the above (I think I covered all bases, though). I am often moved to do one of the following things: 1) Rant at the screen while viewing yet another manipulative or formulaic piece of Hollywood-produced crap, 2) Do #1 but follow it by a power cessation (which is normally the case, except when said ranting is really enjoyable, or amusing to others), 3) Shake my head sadly while considering that a group of people actually met, decided that the idea they had before them was worth tens of millions of dollars to produce and actually then bore the fruits of that idiocy which is now leeching a small fraction of my life away.
Sometimes I'm even emotionally-invested.

"So, uh ... now what do we do? Get rid of it?"
"Hrm."
The first speaker is tall, lean, and appears somewhat dazed.
The second utterer of sounds is short and squat and holds a rifle across folded arms. He looks each way down a desolate road after issuing the previous bit of eloquence, and then:
"Naw."
His porcine face then seems to be squeezed in half as he struggles to think. "Maybe we oughta call it in?" he asks, uncertainly. Steam rises from his bald pate as he removes his hat to scratch it in the frigid early morn.
The first speaker looks at his portly partner, dumbfounded, his eyes wide with surprise at his new level of stupidity. "You just shot her."
"Um."
"With a rifle."
"I thought ..."
"In the face."
"Well ..."
"She's unarmed."
"Hrm."
"She was just hiking."
"Yeah."
"WHAT THE FUCK?!"

- I believe in the death penalty

I certainly do. I've seen many news programs about it, and despite the death penalty leaving behind neither footprints (unlike bigfoot) or DNA (like bigfoot), I am certain that it exists.
