Soul Mates

This is a lay up. A gimme. A slam dunk. While it is easy to come up with the answer - my incredible, beautiful wife - the answer is both simple and complex. Easy to explain, yet impossible to ever put into words.

There is no doubt she is the best friend, the soul mate, the true companion I could ever have hoped or dreamed for. I could speak in superlatives about her forever, and yet I would still fall short in adequately describing her. She challenges me and makes me a better person every single day. She is there when I fall, to help guide me to the top of the mountain again. She is brave in hard times, unflappable yet vulnerable at others. She is loving beyond words, and I melt when I see how she loves our girls and how they love, worship and admire her. She is funny, articulate, intelligent and determined. She is a role model. She embodies what it means to be a best friend.

I am blessed, for she is the bedrock of my life, and the cornerstone of my family.
