Yes. Once, I turned back and all was fine. Another time, I didn't realize its absence until I reached my destination. It felt like I was missing a limb.

- My favorite room
-
My favorite room is a room I have yet to visit. It is the Reading Room at the British Museum.
It's no secret that I love to read. I'll choose buying books over buying anything else. The Reading Room... just typing it makes me giddy. It reminds me of the library from "Beauty and the Beast."
I would like to live there.

- When I started using the Internet
-
It was about four years ago, after I graduated high school. Before then, I was mostly an email/Wikipedia/SparkNotes kind of internet user, but it wasn't until I discovered the wonderful world of blogging where things got out of hand. I became addicted to mommy blogs at the tender age of 18. I've been reading Dooce for years! I followed the ups and downs of This Fish. Then I started blogging and Facebooking. Twitter has also become one of my addictions.
And here I am.

- My nicknames
-
1. Strawberry Shortcake -- I've come to terms with the fact that I will always be the cute one. It doesn't help that I'm small and have curly, red hair. It used to make me cringe, but I have embraced it.
2. Steph-a-Noodles -- Again, with the curly hair. Not very original, but there you have it.
3. Tefa -- What? Yeah, my grandmother calls me that. I think it's her version of the "teph" in my name. It's terrible, but she's my grandmother so I have to let the woman call me whatever she wants, right?
4. Gigi -- Some of my closest friends call me this. It's from my middle name, Giselle. I like the musicaland I prefer it over #1-3.
But really, Steph will do just fine.
