      • In response to: "What is the one thing you consistently spill on yourself?" What don't I spill on myself? My family has a saying. It's not dinner 'till someone spills. I've spilled macaroni and cheese, cake, and even Crisco. I'm what you would call accident-prone.

    • Family Time!
      • Hardscrabble Camp Site from Above

Every year, I look forward to my family reunion. All 25 of us go camping somewhere memorable (Lassen, the Redwoods, etc.). All of my cousins live in far away Calfiornia, so I get to see them only once per year. It's so worth the drive. Happy camping!

    • Zzzzzz... Dream.
      • sleep

Ha. Funny thing, dreams are. Some people remember them, then some don't. I am part of the latter group. I have remembered exactly three dreams. Ever. The first was a beautiful bookstore. I was awed by it's beauty. The second was a *very* weird modeling audition. With purple wigs. The last was riding on top of a moving Christmas tree. Yeah. Pretty weird.

    • Is Home *Really* Where the Heart Is?
      • Housing

Home is where the heart is. This is the quintessential feeling of home to most people. And it's true! Home *is* where the heart is. It's just that people have different hearts. My heart happens to be with my family, where I've lived forever. Home is in my hometown. Yours may be in your hometown, it may be on your favorite Carribean island on vacation, or it may just be wherever you are.

    • If I Had the World's Attention for Two Minutes
      • Globe

If I could say something to the entire world, it would be this. "Listen up people. If you want world peace, you're gonna have to work at it. It's not going to happen if you're fighting. Like Albert Einstein said, 'You cannot force peace on the world. It will only work if you everyone agrees.' People need to work together, eliminate violence, and have everyone understand that they need to work together. And hey, there's a few people out there who need a little help.
