I think when to "throw in the towel" depends on what you're quitting. If you're thinking about quitting something like a sport, I believe that if you start something you should finish it. The only time I think if may be accpetable to quit is if you are repeatedly not being treated fairly, and that is causing you to lose your love for the game. Relationship wise, I believe that if someone doesn't make you happy anymore than it is okay to "throw in the towel". I don't really believe in quitting in general, but sometimes enough is enough. If you're quitting for you're own well-being, I think it is acceptable.

A relative I wish I saw more frequently is my grandma. My grandma is the most amazing lady in the world. She has such a good heart and will do anything she can to help others. She will help her family and friends with anything they need, and aslo helps people she doesn't know. My grandma is very involved with charities as well as churches. My grandma and I are very close and always have things to talk about. I see her often but not as often as I would like. Since my grandpa died she isn't very busy, so I am going to make an effort to visit her more. She always has interesting stories and delicious food.

When I was going to be a freshman in highschool, my best friend and I went on a vacation prior to the school year beginning. We went to London and Paris. I never thought I would be so interested in the art I saw, especially in the old castles. I went to a few different castles in both London and in Paris and I was amazed by the beautiful artwork I saw within these castle walls. There were many portraits of previous kings or queens, as well as the royal family. On the ceilings there were elaborate paintings of angels and the sky. This was the most beautiful artwork I have ever seen.
