I have lived outside of the country I was born in if time is immaterial. I have spent almost two months in Malawi and South Africa. Summers in Jamaica. Two weeks in Malaysia. An abbreviated time in Taiwan. Several non-contiguous weeks in the Bahamas. Does that count as "living outside of the US"?
