- In response to: "What's the one thing you're never gonna give up?" Never will I give up the childlike side of myself. That's the beauty of being a professional storyteller -- I get to live in my imagination. My inner child gets to play every day.

- I get all shook up when I think about San Francisco
-
Please don't make me have to wait until my "Golden Years" to live in The City! I fell in love with San Francisco the first time I saw it. It's a wacky place (which just fits my personality). That a 5th generation Texan (who doesn't like crowds) would choose San Francisco as "home" still seems incongruous to me, but that's what it is.
Money would HAVE to be "no object," because if I lived there, I would want to try a different restaurant every day and go to the theater twice a week. I'd want to live near Union Square, because it is where I feel the heartbeat of the city. However, if you forced me to live in the Embarcadero district it wouldn't kill me.
I'm also going to have to get in shape. Walking the hills is murder for an old broad!

- Bacon would sustain me for a year...
-
Bacon and eggs, Bacon wrapped shrimp, filet mignon (ditch the steak--eat the bacon), Bacon brownies (yes you can: http://bacontoday.com/bacon-brownies/), Bacon wrapped pineapple, Bacon & Tomato sandwich, Bacon Biscuits, Bacon Cheeseburger, Bacon Alfredo, Peanut Butter & Bacon Sandwich, Bacon wrapped dates, BACON!
I could go on for hours, but I just flooded the keyboard with drool.

- I'm in the Cherry Stem Knot Hall of Fame

I can twist a cherry stem into a knot without my hands--just my tongue. That sounds vaguely suggestive, but it isn't meant to be.
My momma would be so proud.

- So, who says you HAVE to grow up?
-
I get to be a "storyteller" in real life (and chose that profession so I could live in the imaginary world in my head!). My business card says, "Yarnspinner," which I do both literally and figuratively. I can't imagine being anything else...except maybe a pool "shark." Yeah, I could enjoy that.
