Robert Fulgum- The guy who wrote, "All you need to know you learned in kindergarden". He wrote a couple other books as well, each was compilation of essays that were simple, and to the point reads.

I recently began... (recently being over the last 4 years), reading from the spy/adventure authors; Clive Cussler, Tom Clancy, Ludlum, Jack Higgins, and others I have forgotten whom have held my attention.

For a real gut-buster of a good time, nobody beats Patrick F. McManus. (Pictured above) He is an outdoor humorist who keeps me laughing; no matter how many times I read. "The Bear who ate Gumba" story is among the very best of a list of greats.

My co-workers are the most awesome people! They fill peoples head with knowledge, insight, caring, and compassion. I am a lucky man to have co-workers as awesome as I do. Everyone should be so lucky. : )

    • Set Up Shop
      • candy store

I think I would open a shop that sold candy, and those balsa wood/rubber band airplanes. They would be in those old school heavy jars on the shelves, and the floors would be the wooden creeky kinds. I would have candy they stopped selling years ago; like the "Wispa" bar, or the "Zero" bar; and inexpensive/fun toys that didn't rely on batteries to make them operate... just gravity, and an imagination.

I remember a place in Canada that had these monster sizes butterscotch twist about 3 inches wide, and 1/2 an inch thick. It was tasty!

In the end, candy makes people happy. It is where all of your dreams can come true. Even if for just a little bit.
