    • When I realized I was a grown-up

      • To be honest I think this concept hits me HARD every once in a while. It sneaks up on me out of nowhere, when I pay for something I typically wouldn't, or when I confront a situation that is not one fit for a child. I miss being a child sometimes, adulthood isn't always easy. I don't think any moment actually defined adult hood for me...but i get slapped in the face with it every time I look at my wedding ring.

    • If I had easy access to a helicopter, I'd fly to Miami, Florida this weekend

      • Miami is my entire heart to be honest. When I am there I am filled with happiness that seems to come from the sun and radiate through me. I can walk the beaches for hours, or stand on the water and take everything in. I can immerse myself in culture that I haven't always been privy to. I can go shopping in my favorite boutiques, and walk from coffee shop to book store, driving my car as little as possible. It is big time life at its finest, and I miss it.
