    • New country, new home, new life

      • Summer of 2001 was one of the most important summers of my life. I've moved from a small town in Ukraine to New York City to live with my mother, I was 14. I recall my drive from JFK airport, looking through the window and seeing nothing familiar, I was a stranger.

        Now, I'm visiting my grandparents in Ukraine. I've walked the streets of once familiar town, a place I called home. Now, I felt strange. I was a stranger and nothing was familiar to me anymore. Once it was home, but now it's just another town I'm visiting.

    • You only need black to draw stick figures.

        It's the only color you need to draw stick figures. I'll just ask for 3 black crayons and spend the day stick figuring and getting worse at drawing =)
