Well, it'd make a fine bathroom book
I got about 60 pages in -- or about 25 chapters -- and I saw the pattern: extremely short chapters, each one starting with a brief recap of the action that had happened at the end of the previous chapter.
The author didn't think I was smart enough to remember what had happened on the page I had just turned.
That, atrocious English, and flat characterization ensured that I will never finish this novel.
