        Surely you must be kidding! I can't imagine standing around gazing into the sky when there is money to be made online. I would much rather gaze into my monitor looking for one more opening to add to my collection of ways to get noticed by the thousands of people suffering from the effects of this terrible economy.

        Even if I were lucky enough to see an amazing once in a lifetime event like a meteor shower or the Northern Lights, the ultimate outcome of my life would not be altered one bit. However, if I found another way to get my message to those desperately seeking help it could change BOTH our lives for the better.

        So for the daydreamers and stargazers in the world, I say enjoy yourself and I truly hope you fulfill your dreams, but I am going to go do something about it.

        I feel like I have a few more miles left in the tank. As long as I can stay engaged and make a few extra bucks online to travel with, I don't think I will ever get old. Life is great! I'm ready to take on another day, how about you?

    • My Thoughts on Valentine's Day

      • Since I sing in a barbershop quartet, it's the busiest day of the year. We average delivering 35 singing valentines every year, where we sing two love songs, hand them a box of chocolates and a flower with a card for $45. It's great to see the faces of both sides, especially when it's a surprise.

        The lady in this photo is a 101 year old we sang for.

    • If I Could Work from Anywhere, I'd Live in...

      • That's easy, right here where I am. Actually I do work from anywhere when I take one of the three of four vacations I take every year, from my laptop with remote control software to run my home computer over the Internet. My wife takes a while to get ready for some of the adventures we go on, so I get a few minutes a day to keep up.

        I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest where the scenery is gorgeous all year long and the weather is tolerable most of the time. Oh maybe a week a year we get a little snow, but we have real seasons and as they unfold each year they provide some breathtaking vistas every season change.

        Then add the fact that 7 of our 9 grandkids live close by and you couldn't get my wife to move if you brought a D9 Cat to try pulling her out. We are both very happy right where we are.
