    • My trip from Alexandria, VA to Denver, CO

      • Seven people, 2 cars, 16ft truck, 3 days, 10 states, 1,700 miles.

        Location: VA, MD, WV, PA, OH, IN, IL, MO, KS, and finally... Colorado.

        My roommate and I moved from Va and MD respectively to go to grad school. We put all our stuff in one 16ft truck, had our two cars, and 5 family members- both my parents, and her dad, uncle, and aunt. It was a fun trip but definitely a long one. If I move back to DC when I graduate I will have movers send my stuff over and make the drive back *without* the 16ft truck.

    • Running keeps me in shape

      • I run a few times a week, normally around 3 miles each time. I also enjoy tennis and horseback riding.

    • I'm turning into my parents, but that's okay.

      • My dad's sense of humor, his love of dogs, his outdoorsy-ness, his dedication, and his penchant to put his all into absolutely everything he does.

        My mom's craftiness (scrabooking and other things), her love of flowers (though I'm a terrible gardener), and her love of tea and backgammon, as well as her ability to let loose and enjoy life.
