- The Angel and the Cash Register
-
Some years back I had a horrible case of the flu. I needed some stuff from the store, and money was super tight. I got to the checkout and it turned out that the few things i needed were more than I could afford. I was so sick and so I started to cry just a little as i tried to figure out what to put back. The register was managed by a young man who could not have been more than a teen or early 20's. He did not say anything but came around to my side of the register and using his own credit card paid for everything. I thanked him, went home and took my medicine and slept for most of the day. A few days later I called the store to arrange to pay the young man back. To my surprise, they had no one there who fit the description and had not had anyone like that before or since. I guess I was waited on by an angel in tennis shoes and too long blond hiar.

- Coming Out Laughing

Some, actually most, babies come into this world with tears and crying, I did not. I came out laughing.

- Silence or Small Talk

No, but only because he immediately fell asleep and spent most of the flight pushing me and the other passenger in our row to the side. I guess he thought he was in first class because he took his seat and about half of ours.
Now I did meet and make friends with a lovely lady who was on the same flight plan as me. She found out I was handicapped and made sure I was taken care of and got where I needed to go.

- E-Annoyances
-
I text only when I have to and I try to keep it on topic. I get really annoyed by the little ones such as "k", "sup" "hi".If you just want to talk call me and we'll talk. If you want me to know you understand something, at least give me the full "okay" or at least "OK".

- Happy App
-
One I have thought about for sometime is inspired by a friend who while otherwise very smart and wise cannot stay off her phone while driving. She is so busy that she is always on the road and always on the phone.
I want an app that detects when a person is in a car or vehicle and intercepts phone calls by telling the caller that the person is in transit and asks that they call back. There could be some sort of option for if the call is an emergency so the driver could pull over if need be.
I just want my friends to be safe.
