    • My trip from Fort Worth, TX to Church Hill, TN

      • I was visiting a friend. Sorry, Arkansas (does anyone else say it AR-kansas in their head or is that just me?) but you aren't very pretty along I-30. Tennessee however, is very pretty. Especially once you get higher up into the mountains. I got so caught up in a French lesson on CD that apparently I moved over too soon after an 18 wheeler and the TN state patrol pulled me over. He was nice though and let me off with a warning.

      • The gift was a sachet in the shape of a tiny pillow. The gift on its own was not bizarre. It is the fact that this older Asian man who was a customer gave it to me. He invited me out for dinner as well. I couldn't understand him very well though.
